About Ramona Hamilton

I write funny yet thoughtful dating experiences to help puzzled single black women navigate the dating scene in the phoenix metro area.  I started this blog because I want to be a voice for single black women living in the Phoenix metro area who are looking for love and/or companionship. 

When I am not writing or curating stories, I am leading teams to smash performance goals.  My professional background includes teaching, staffing/recruiting, management.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, meeting new people, traveling, shopping, reading suspense novels, trying out different bourbons, and binge-watching TV.  I am a native New Yorker, and has lived in Phoenix, AZ since 2006.

Fun facts about me:  Trekkie, Gen X’er, noticeable Brooklyn accent, sometimes wear an afro, super chatty, love 80’s and 90’s Hip Hop/R&B, have a cat but don’t want to be called a cat lady
